Australian Golf History Timeline

A summary of noteworthy events, individuals and locations that make up the rich history of golf in Australia. This timeline is an ongoing project of the Australian Golf Heritage Society. It is being compiled in parallel with a similar physical timeline in our Museum space at Strathfield Golf Club.

Where possible, 'Stories' on the respective timelines are linked via hyperlink or QR Code to articles on the Australian Golf Heritage Society website, relevant pages on external websites, or complementary articles on Trove - the National Library of Australia's excellent online archive.

Clicking on 'Continue' on the bottom version keeps you on this page, and presents the embedded view. Content is the same, so pick the one that suits you and your device best.
